Academic Summer School - Coser 409A
The Academic Summer School Program held at the Liberty Middle School for students in grades 7-12. The courses offered are designed for students who have completed the requirements for the course, but need a passing grade or need to recover credits in either the course or, in some cases, the Regents examination. Students may also retake a course or Regent’s exam over to raise their grades. The tentative schedule, registration and general information for Academic Summer School are listed on the SC BOCES website.
Cost Formula: A per-student tuition rate will be established based on projected enrollment.
2012-2013 Summer School Schedule
Academic courses: July 8th through August 12th
Regents Exams: August 13th & August 14th
(REGENTS EXAM SCHEDULE MAY NOT BE CHANGED OR MODIFIED)
Classes will be held Monday through Thursday-NO CLASSES ON FRIDAYS
Class Schedule:
- Period 1 7:45 - 9:45
- Period 2 9:45 - 11:45
- Period 3 11:45 - 1:45 High School classes
Earth Science Lab Practical-TBD. (Students enrolled in Earth Science or retaking Regents exam must retake the lab practical)
Registration:
All student registration will be done at the home school via the Sullivan County BOCES website to ensure students are registered for the appropriate class and/or Regents Exam.
Students and parents must sign and return Summer School Contract by end of the first week of classes.

Regents only students must register via the Sullivan County BOCES website Before July 15th.
STUDENT MUST BRING PHOTO ID ON THE DATE OF THE REGENTS EXAM TO BE ADMITTED INTO THE EXAM.
Prior to June 22nd, please forward IEP's and 504 plans to Linda Blanton at Sullivan County BOCES via bus mail. After June 22nd please send to the Liberty Middle School.
Tuition costs have not been determined.
